CONSTRUCTION

I began construction with sawing the dowel I bought so that it would match my three feet measurement, as well as sanding the ends of it. Once that was finished, I began to use alternating square knots to make the bottom of the bed, following a similar design to a hammock that I linked below, along with the macrame. Next, I did the macrame design, which included alternating square knots, diagonal clove knots, and berry knots, and added some extra rope to offer more support. In order to attach the bottom to the macrame design, I used a series of thumb knots, then used the same method to tie the rope used to hang the bed.
